Pale lemon colour. Medium and developing nose with ripe yellow apples, peach, lemon, toast, charred wood and vanilla. Medium taste of ripe yellow apples, peach, lemon, toast, charred wood and vanilla. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Californian Chardonnay. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Goes well with cheeses, fish or poultry.

Upon finishing an Anterra 2019, this first sip seemed more oakey, almost like a cheap smoked Gouda. I've liked it the past, but should probably look at better food pairings first.

PnP. Pretty good. Bright, juicy fruit. I understand this has 1% gewurz--I almost feel like I can tell. VERY yellow. Fresh and clean. Tasty, light to medium body. Can't say it screams "Chardonnay," but it is very decent for what it is. More orange than lemon essence. Hard to fit this into any kind of category. On its own merits, without considering varietal: 4-11-15-8: 88/100. Of all the other reviews I just looked at after rating this, C. Marshall's most closely matches with my experience.

Sourced entirely from the Riva Ranch Vineyard in Arroyo Seco, this wine includes a 1% dollop of Gewürztraminer. The large majority (90%) was barrel fermented in a combination of new and second use French and American oak, then aged sur-lie for six months, undergoing 100% malolactic fermentation. Light golden in color, it offers an aromatic profile of baked red apples, tropical fruit, citrus, caramel and toasted oak. Medium-bodied, low-to-medium in acidity and without alcoholic heat, it delivers flavors in line with the aromas, adding notes of hazelnuts and nutmeg. Dense in the middle and medium-length on the back end, this is a single-vineyard Chardonnay that sells at an attractive price. That said, to my palate, it lacks acid and has more oak than I would prefer. Those who like this style will enjoy it over the next 2-3 years. Drink now-2026.

Lots of bitter lemon rind on the finish this vintage. May not be as good as other years.

Pale gold color. Notes of pineapple that round out to pear. I taste a little vanilla as well. Not much oak or butter, but very drinkable.
