My first of this '21 Gap's.....pnp'd to have a glass after dinner and somehow just kept pouring through the night. Medium ruby in the glass. Nose of strawberries and tea. Palate early on is rich and ripe in red cherry fruit, juicy and balanced with nice energy. 94 at the start, it tamed a bit through the evening to a 92 but it's still quite flavorful, spicy and good. This vintage seems to have a little different barrel treatment to it, allowing the fruit and the structure of the wine to shine through more. Ready to drink at the pnp for its fruit, give it an hour or two of air if you want the toned down version.
Next tasting: still great, and earlier notes apply, but scoring a little lower (93 vs. the earlier 95). This wine is young and complex, and a little green. Give it time.

Tastings at Bedrock, Sojourn, Extradimensional Wine Co Yeah!; 10/10/2022-10/12/2022 (Sonoma): Complex, with fruit and savory flavors in balance. (Blue fruit, baking spice, touch of wood.) Bright acidity. Long finish. Still tight in the mid-palate; give it several years, like 2024 or 2025 at a minimum. Very good and such a great QPR - year after year, this is some of the best Pinot Noir to be had in Sonoma for under $100.
Spent 11 months in 50% new french oak.

Decanted for 30 minutes. Very well-balanced wine with medium acidity and tannins. Loys of red cherry. Long finish. One of my favorite Sojourn pinots.

Nuanced, complex, medium-to-full-body pinot with layers of fruit, spice, cola.

Always my favorite of the Sojourn PN lineup. Rich complex fruit, this is not PN as we normally drink it. A cab lovers Pinot!
