The wine is ruby colored - definitely light to medium in color. The legs are not thick along the glass. This wine is excellent but you must enjoy subtlety with a low flavor factor in the mouth. Drink it with lighter foods or as I did, with lightly smoked salmon that was not spiced. The flavors do not overwhelm - you can pair it with light colored meats. If you like a big wine like a Kosta Browne or Sea Smoke, you will not appreciate this wine. If you want more flavors in a wine, I suggest you try the 2021 vintage

Dusky crimson in glass. Redwoods, ocean air, earthy spices on nose. Sweet red berries with brilliant acidity with secondary floral notes and spices on palate. Served with bourbon salmon! Beautiful wine!
