Aerated with a Vinturi and decanted for two hours. Aromas of currant, cherry, plum, cedar and vanilla. Rich and jammy on the palate, with plum, cherry, currant notes and smooth tannins. Leads to a long finish. Full bodied. A fruit forward style. Paired with strip steak.

Fantastic bottle. tasted it in 2010 and now 2 years later and the wine really gained from this. It was great then and better now. Fruity nose with hint of cherry and plum little oak. Very smooth on the palate for the high alcohol content and well balanced. We decanted the wine for 30 minutes and had it with some hanger steak with a brandy cherry sauce. Perfect match.

I'll chalk this up to AO's first attempt at a Proprietary Red. This wants to be a balanced wine, but just can't pull it off. Disappointing, especially considering the cost.

Awesome new world domestic cab blend. This wine is thick and luscious. Nice long cork and heavy bottle. Well made. Paired very well with ny strips on the grill while camping at pace bend park with greg and hudson. Good times!

Very good...opened up nicely after about 15 minutes in the bottle...black cherries and some wood. A steep price for a Cali cab-merlot blend but a nice effort.

Dark rich aroma of dried sour wild cherry lifesavers with sweet milk chocolate Nice flavor profile showing cherry, dried herbs, and bitter dark chocolate. Simpler in terms of depth/concentration. Slightly hallow middle. Finishes with good flavors, but somewhat quick. Overall nice wine in a somewhat muted style. I wanted the dial of intensity turned up 3 or 4 notches. Not one to age or with long life, but a good cocktail party wine.
