This was drinking beautifully, seemed more like a Spatlese than a Kabinett. Good energy, nice balance between sweetness and acidity, and lots of white fruit. This was much better than I remembered. There was some residual sugar in the last glass, so despite the screw top I guess this had some bottle age.

Consistent with prior bottles. Showing a bit more mineral and rock, which to me seems to be consistent with this site as I try more examples. Terroir? Perhaps. Good wine? For sure.

To accompany heirloom tomato/buffalo mozzarella salad. Under screwcap and $17.
A very nice Kabinett with notes of lime, apricot, a little slate. Plenty crisp and a little lean through the midpalate, nonetheless enough push to make me consider picking up a few more as daily quaffers.

Petrol nose and palate, mineral, green apple with a hint of tropical fruit and a sugary mouth feel and a very pleasing weight.

Light straw color. Clear. Restrained nose of green fruits. Floral notes. Sweet and sour, nice acidity on the medium finish. Nice wine.
