Found this on closeout for $3. Great deal for that price. Normally $15-20. Paired it over the weekend with rubbed and grilled oragnic pork chops which we purchased at a farmers market. I liked the mathc very well. This wine had excellent depth. Typical Spatlese level sweetness. Ripe apple and stone fruit. Some tropical nuances as well. Lush texture and good length on the finish. 90 points.

As enjoyable as the last bottle of this I opened a couple of months ago. Gorgeous floral nose with lemon blossom, apples and limes mingled with faint slatey and spicy notes. Gentle, clear fruit and mineral flavours on the palate with good acidity and a sense of incredible refreshment.

A really delightful, elegant Mosel Riesling with lovely flavours of red and green apples and lime tinged with slate and flowers. Incredibly light in the mouth with bright acidity and gentle flavours that keep building up with each sip, finishing with only a hint of sweetness. Really refreshing with each sip making you want to reach for the glass again.

Very light color. Clear with hints of gold and green. Nose of citrus with floral notes. Tart apple, lime, grapefruit. Nicely acidic, with a long finish of lemon rind. Very enjoyable. So far very impressed with Jakoby-Mathy from 2006.

Excellent. Somewhat more focused that past bottles. Tight core of apple, melon, and lime. Stones fruits on the finish, nice acids. Last bottle.

Significant improvement since last bottle. Consistent profile but showed more tropical fruits and melon, with more focus. Great bottle.

Pale yellow green, fairly muted nose so far as I could tell, considerable sweetness, good mouthfeel, slightly unctuous, notes of lemon and pineapple.
