Has the green notes on palate especially, but on initial sniff, it seems
Body light-medium Alcohol medium Acid medium Viscosity/Mouthfeel low medium enveloped Tannins low Finish medium 30s+ Good wine, without potential fur cellaring, nor improvement.
Will not buy this again. It's such a far cry from anything Drouhin Oregon, especially Roserock!!

Dark ruby color. Cherry notes. Medium tannin, not too dry. Plenty of fruit. Paired with pasta but would be nice with some lamb or even steak. Edit. Tasted even better the second day

Let’s give this Oregon Pinot a little respect. Right away my nose and palate perceived a nice hit of oak. Also noticed a slightly higher than expected viscosity from both a touch of added Syrah and the warmer than typical growing season, which also may have caused a lack of characteristic crispness. But, this Pinot comes across as balanced, fruity in a riper way and herbal across the palate.

Based on other reviews my expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed with duck breast with blueberry sauce. Pairing guide recommended an Oregon Pinot with some acidity and this fit the bill nicely.

Grocery store wine. Very peculiar pink color portends calamity. Nose is a relatively simple blend of alcohol, chemicals, raspberry, orange. Honestly not offensive but definitely not good. Palate - starts a mildly promising diluted fruit forward flavor which then quickly melts into a very bitter, alcohol heavy, woody, chalky (like for a chalkboard) bomb that just lingers on the tongue. Would rather eat the pith of a lemon. Very high, piercing acid that is way out of balance. Be careful to have a back; otherwise, the sharp tones will reverberate in your mouth for quite a while. Just disgusting swill… portopotty juice may be better.
Texture is very thin and watery which ironically saves it from unmitigated disaster. Only thing worse for this would be extreme overextraction. Don’t know how the wine maker was able to resist. That this is sold for $20/bottle is criminal. 13%. Once I got home and saw that ch st Michelle bought this winery I knew I was in trouble.

PnP. Ruby. Red berries on the nose. Bright, very light bodied, very soft, with noticeable acidity and a somewhat unpleasant slightly bitter finish. Not up to the level of previous bottles of this vintage or of previous vintages. Clearly there is significant bottle variation - this bottle tastes baked (rating: 75). ADDENDUM: This was improved after 5 days in the frig, displaying bright red fruits on the palate. Maybe it just needed air before consumption. This would merit a score in the mid-high 80s. (86-88).

This is one of the worst Oregon Pinot's I have tasted in a while although the recent A to Z was even worse. Not much going on here with light fruits, a hint of spice and mild floral notes. Not much flavor going on here. These Oregon Appellation Pinot Noir's are easy passes from these corporate producers as there is hardly any Pinot character to be found.

Consumed over several hours from bottle. Translucent ruby. Red fruits and spice on the nose. Bright red fruits on the palate, with noticeable acidity that is not a detraction, as it is balanced by the fruit. Delicious forward Pinot Noir that makes you want to finish the bottle, matched well with chicken dish. Not greatness, just deliciousness, at a modest price point. A house Pinot. This is similar to, but better than, the 2019. A winner. (88-89).

I passed on the 2020, given the vintage (mass fire/smoke issues) in OR, and was pleasantly surprised to see this appear so soon on the shelf. I gave this about 20 minutes of air and evaluated it over the hour plus with fish and chicken-based dishes. Translucent ruby. Clean cherries on the forward nose. Light bodied, incredibly pure cherries on the palate with a little grip, albeit not much complexity. Some astringency on the finish. For now, judgment reserved, but probably about an 87-88, with some upside potential. At this point, this strikes me like a lighter, somewhat hypothetical blend, of the 2019 and the 2018 (more 2019). Very fruit forward delicious wine, that should be very useful as an everyday house Pinot, provided you purchase it at discount. While I personally prefer the more earthy/darker fruit style of the 2016 and 2018 to the brighter red fruit of the 2019, this appears to be closer to, and a worthy follow up to, the 2019.

This is way too bitter for my taste. Letting it open up awhile and will add if it improves.
