Deep, foggy red. Nose is cherry and herbs, a little reminiscent of the cough syrup from my childhood. My husband gets bell pepper and pencil shavings on the taste. I get some baking spices and can't wait to drink this wine with BBQ in Sweet Baby Ray's. I also get some bell pepper. It has an unusual balance of sweet and dry mouth feel. Very enjoyable with food.
