Still young. Needed 1.5 hr in decanter to open up and continued to change in the glass over next 4 hours. Sure it would have been great the next day if there was any left. Lot of stone fruit. Green bell pepper and rounded. Long finish. Another top tier California Chardonnay from Aubert. Will only improve over the coming years.

Liquid gold! We drank it on two consecutive nights and it was great the first night and even better the second. Decanted on first night for an hour. It has perfect acidity - enough to let you know it is there but nothing offensive. Steady citrus - lemon and maybe a bit of rind as well. Buttery with a hint of oak, but not overpowering. Great feel and finish. It paired perfectly with both my wife’s fabulous roast chicken on Wednesday night as well as a wonderful pizza from San Francisco’s Delfina on Thursday. Aubert certainly isn’t inexpensive, but both meals were as better than the majority of our $100+ restaurant meals. A real winner. Glad I have five more and also just picked up my spring 2024 allocation yesterday. Their wines have really spoiled us!
Popped and dropped into the decanter. First sip poured with no decant, tasteful oak, lemon, grapefruit and chamomile on the nose. beautiful balance on the palate, no heat, integrated and long finish. Going to give this some more time to unwind and update my note, but really good to start.

Boom! This is a phenomenal wine. Long finish that shows vanilla, cinnamon stick, and brown butter. The oak is heavy here but for those that indulge as I do, you will love this.

Nose is full of grapefruit that carries forward to the palate. Medium plus acidity that really keeps your mouth watering. Shows salinity on the palate as well. Definitely not an oak bomb. Long finish but I think this needs time for the acidity to mellow out a bit.

I’m going back and forth from thinking this is delicious one sip to a little boozy the next. Nose is great and it’s interesting either way. C likes it a lot so we’ll keep buying :)

The UV-SL was a lot more closed than the Powder House, but very tasty. More notes of oyster shells here, lemon, peach, oak, salinity. I must admit I didn't let it air enough, but I'll wait for a few years until I try it again.

Mini vertical, 19, 20 and 21. This was my 2nd fave. Needs more time to round out for sure but it has great tension and fruit. Should have some big upside with a few more years!

Delicious, as expected. Primary flavor of oyster shells, including the brine. Add some nutty round mouthfeel and flavor and lemony citrus. Aubert truly delivers.

An absolutely fabulous Chardonnay. Hints of lemon, curd, some tropical notes. It is hard to describe how good this wine is. Delicious
