Really impressed with this Spanish Tempranillo from Dehesa Gago called "Little g". Flavor, tannins and structure holds up for 12+ years and it could have laid down another 3-5 without losing anything. Ripe, full dark-red plum notes with hints of vanilla and spice on the front., Mid-pallet is filled with moderate tannins and complex fruit/glycerin. Finish lasts a while; 30+ seconds with lasting cocoa and stone fruit. Sorry to see my last bottle of "Little g" go down. Haven't been able to get any more in the US.

Amazing staying power. Deep purple color extends well into the ring. Black cherry notes and other roasted stone fruit on the nose. Big fruit meets perfectly balanced tannins even after 9 years in cellar. Long, silky finish with compact almost chocolate notes. Wish I had lots more!

Plum jam on the nose. Tar and hints of black pepper held their own against the forward (too sweet) fruit. Acidity went bitter on the finish. I remember this tasting better.

Rubi escuro. Agradáveis aromas de frutos vermelhos, cerejas e um leve defumado. Melhor no nariz do que na boca, que traz corpo leve e sedoso, taninos suaves, acidez na medida, deixando na boca um amargor final. Frutado e simples. Ótimo.

nose: good, initial: good, finish: good. Hints of blueberry and raisin. Good wine, but would not buy again.

Soft and fruity but bit too 'ribena' like. Lack of tannins make it good curry match.

Very fruity but lacked balance with little tannins or acidity. Went well with curry tho'.
