  • Friday, May 02, 2003 Color of burgundy with brick on the rim; thick legs. I don’t usually mention legs on wine, but this wine had Hillary legs. Very full bouquet of earth and cherry pits. Medium weight with flavors of earth, cherry pits, graphite, some bitter chocolate and a long herby finish (maybe rosemary and menthol). The finish is diminished by the hot alcoholic note on the end. Alc. 12.5%. With mushroom sauce over London Broil.
