Packed with sweet but still fresh cherry fruit. Lots of acidity and overall in a great balance. The wine does not indicate the 16% and is easy to drink. Very lush but unfortunately not at the level as the 2000 version. Still, a solid and impressive performance!

Old and drinking on the happy side of easy. My perfect style of Amarone, not a fruit bum, think Amarone on Ballerina Tea. Lits and easy to sip, could satisfy before, with, or after. Still has that faint of concentration, than its lite as a feather. Bitter chocolate, faint black cherry, just licked a postage stamp from Shangri-La.

Really good Amarone. Classic in style with unbashed sweetness in the core (pairing incredibly well with vension and Cumberland sauce). Grape must, earthy notes - all in balance with a nice acidity.

- Medium forming legs. It's in total harmony and has flavours of prune, fig and raisin with a full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Amazing Amarone that opens brilliantly with lusciously thick dark prune and cherry flavors.

Still in a very primary state with that floral grape must. Reminds me of Cypriote grape must candy. Definite sweetness. Has a delightful charm and personality. Fertile and fecund.

Pretty darn good. The raisin thing definitely happened, but if you could imagine a raisin that somehow "unshriveled" itself, then that's the main flavor you would be tasting. Poppies, roses, and dried black raspberries on the nose. plum skins, brown sugar on the palate. The finish is like waiting at the bus stop w/ a rock star who has no where to be- a bit confusing as to why it stays there so long and has packed a box of violets, black cherries, and red miso for the trip.

Loaded nose with floral grape must, fig and that smell of fruit in the fields. Wide and soft structure with pretty edges completed by all-too-rare bitter notes. Primary, grape-based core. Just lush and fertile w/o blasting. Good finish, very long with continual softness. A picture of elements in balance, all waiting to advance to something else. Lovely to drink, but time will complete this.

Impressive wine, perfect to deer. Can be to much alcohol in the mouth compared to lack of freshness. Recommend drink now

Rounded out with less grape must sweetness and a deeper, darker vibe. Acids in balance as is the alcohol. Very true.
