This is way too young at the moment. Thank goodness I have another bottle to rest for 5 more years at least. Very linear and tannic immediately on opening, but you can tell there is a good wine buried in here. 3 hours of air on night one and then vacu-vinned over night and it opened up on the second evening into a rich layered wine with a solid tannic backbone. Plum and blackberry and some intriguing floral notes on the nose. It has that charcoal note that I find often on Aglianico-based wines, but not so much on tempranillo in my experience. Delightful drinking experience, but right now you need to open it in the morning for evening drinking.

Young but it’s drinking well. It will certainly flesh out with age and gain complexity. 93+
