Showing a bit of age, with some orange tinges, but in a very good place. Medium-full body with strength balanced with elegance. Smooth and with good balance. Particularly pleasing was the bright cherry fruit. No let down on the finish. A-

(Blind tasting) Full, spicy, immediate nose. Walnuts, chocolate and slightly animaly. Also hints of indish spices. Mature and a bit funky and rough. Gently oaky. Medium-fullish, intense palate. Pinot in the masculine school. Good, dynamic tannins. Sweet liquorice, dark fruit and chocolate (!). A bit four-square and robust (Corton?) I have not been impressed by Tollot-Beaut during the last few years, but this was a good bottle. Tasty, but also a bit disjointed. The vintage is a Winner.

Solid classic Corton - ripe strawberry flavors predominate, with a solid tannic backbone - positioned for long life - previous tastings did not reveal the fruit present here

Small taste, brief note. Certainly mature, probably too mature for Corton at this age, but fun and pleasurable today. Drink up.

Not complex, but beautiful and balanced. Bigger than I thought it would be. Should hit its stride in 3-4 years.

Cherry fruit with mineral, cola, and woody notes. Very easy to drink, and paired great with cheese and charcuterie.

This has certainly improved with age. Nice cherry upfront, with lingering cinnamon, spice, and leather finish. Terrific balance.

Good fruit, reasonably light that matched well with roast pork. Improved with time, but not a memorable wine.

Still young tasting. Took about one hour to open up, revealing very nice cherry and red fruit flavors intermingled with earthy, mushroom undertones.

A decent burgandy but a little thin (could say delicate) and lacking in complexity.
