Medium red center with orange rim. On the nose, there is cherry and sweetarts initially with a hint of oak. In the mouth, there is plenty of cherry and sweetarts melded with a tart edge. Structurally, the acidity was a little low and the tannins were non-existant. The finish was moderate with solid fruit. Overall, this was good but seemed a bit confected.

Translucent purple (not a deep color at all). Dark cherry, pencil lead & earthiness. This one was really reminding me of a Spanish red, and that isn't a criticism.

Light ruby color. Huge cinnamon on both the nose and in the mouth. Cherries on the palate. Soft tannins and low acidity. This was appreciated by my mother-in-law for its light body and forward fruit.

Nice and fruit forward. Resembles a Pinot in some ways. A bit of pepper, nice smooth palate. Not a whole lot of complexity, but this is a perfectly enjoyable wine.

Excellent wine with bright cherry fruit and dusty tannins. With air, a little cocoa come out. The finish has good length. Overall, this is an admirable effort that is beyond most CA sangioveses.

Took a little while to open up but once it did it was nice. Good with pasta. Probably won't buy this again - Arroyo's Petite Syrahs are excellent but their other wines have just been so-so.

Started out somewhat restrained...okay but not interesting or memorable, but really gained weight as the night went on, opening up and announcing its presence. Notes of spice, lavender, black cherries and red fruit, though displayed more dark fruit than red by the end of the night. Medium bodied, with red fruit and soft tannins and a nice underlying acidity. 89+.

Clear, pale-medium red. Clean, medium intensity aromas of cherry, vanilla, crushed berries. Medium acidity, medium tannins that are very soft. Medium body with a medium-long finish. Flavors match aromas. This is drinking amazingly well for being such a recent release. 13.9%abv. Very delicious wine.

A good solid bottle for the money. Very "earthy" with softer fruit flavor and balanced tannins.

Liight in the body and lacked character. May open up more with decanting.

Garnet red color. The nose is packed with red cherries. The acidity is balanced, and the finish is solid.

Consistent with prior notes. Very nice, well balanced. Low alcohol, yet good ripeness and intensity.
