Nose of candied red fruit and violets. Certainly a light wine with all the elements in balance. Medium length on the finish. It's simple but enjoyable, especially with food.

Medium ruby in colour and barely see-through in the center, with a wide rainy, translucent rim.
Primarily fruit forward on the nose with a bit of oak - Red cherries, strawberries, cranberries, vanilla, and peppercorns.
Fruit forward on the palate with red fruits that are very similar to the nose. There are some tannins that are slightly grippy, but nothing overbearing. Good deal of acidity that compliments the fruits. Medium finish with the red fruits lingering around.
Relatively jammy and while this is quite one-dimensional and lacking complexity, this is a great everyday wine, especially for its price.

Light body. Powerful nose of strawberry with black cherry and baking spice. Smooth rounded tannins with ripe acidity. Palate of black cherry, raspberry, cranberry and spice. Medium black cherry finish. Very lively and fresh. Great daily drinker especially at this price point

The (previous) 2021 vintage was tasty, but for me a big step down from the nuance and surprising depth of earlier vintages - this is nearly the exact same. It still feels like "real wine" for sure - tart raspberry and strawberry, sort of a weird mix of "jammy" red fruit and "super fresh" red fruit that didn't always mix well. I loved the somewhat bright energy and general balance, but it isn't the insane QPR it was before...

Started sweet on the nose, almost like fake strawberry. Put back in the fridge to cool it down a bit and this helped. It evolved into a light, more refreshing red. Not complex.

This bottle is open 48 hours with no obvious changes in the way it drinks. A) sophisticated, attenuated, withdrawn, with a taste (since Omicron) that I associate with larger scale, controlled fermentations in a value-neutral way. Moving past all that ... B) really nice core of dense flavor—berries, plum, cured herbs; as much black grape as strawberry. Substantial extract and texture. Nothing carbonic of note—more like old-school Côte Chalonnaise Pinot Noir ... style. Tannins are ripe and textured of red-brown pith. Acid supports the action rather than directing it. Chewing on the finish brings a validating surge of ripe red and blue fruits. This wine is very buttoned up, and live core. The last few slurps were the best, offering a crushed velvet curtain stone-liquor, almond, and pie plum. I'm using this cuvée as a benchmark to read the 2022 vintage more broadly. See reviews here on CT re 2011 and 1998; maybe I'll lay down some bottles of 2022 for a few years.

This is a young wine, still an intense purple in the glass, with a medium nose of cooked strawberries, vanilla cherries, ripe banana, graphite, and hints of herbs. On the palate, acidity is medium , as are the tannins, with flavours of sour plums , tobacco, and a drying metallic finish. Served chilled, on a warm early summer evening, this accompanied meat loaf , with a fresh tomato sauce. Pleasant and unexceptionable Beaujolais, that will benefit from a year's aging.

Round with berry, black cherry, spice. Good for price and doesn't overpower delicate foods.

Notes of strawberry and raspberry. Tart, fruity, acidic, and slightly earthy. Quick finish with light tannins. Very pleasant and easy to drink.

Bright red in color. Acid high, dry, alcohol medium, tannins low, finish medium, crisp medium bodied.
Aromas of strawberry, minerality notes like river rock.
On the palate, crisp and dry, bright with strawberries, cranberries, and raspberries. Tart cherries, with some minerality on the finish.
A great value at $14.

Black fruit, good acidity, well balanced. Solid gamay at the price. Serve chilled, not quite rose temp but close.

Cranberries and plums on the nose. Lots of acidity. Raspberries and cranberries on the tongue with smooth tannins and a long finish. Good with food.
