Not especially remarkable, but a solid, well-balanced effort at a reasonable price, again sourced at Costco. It is just not possible to obtain a really good pinot noir at a low price but this one does better than most. Juicy, dark cherry fruit, mild tannins, not much length.

I've been in a sub- 13.5% ABV kick lately, and this beauty came in at 13.2%. Darker than the last OR pinot I had the other week. Right now it's mostly fruit - pomegranate and raspberries - but not over the top with cola and oak flavors. Kinda pure fruit. It's balanced. Silky with a nice acid backbone. If this was $100, more reviews would put the score in the 90s. I'm not sure what this will be like in 5 years or 10, but it's delicious now. I'll be buying more at $20 in my LWS.

A nice go to Oregon Pinot, always juicy, fresh and balanced without sweetness. nice weight and texture. not the most distinctive Pinot but very drinkable. Nice value

Bright fruits, very smooth but no sense of terroir. With the kids and spinach, pine nut, Gruyere-stuffed pork tenderloin and risotto with asparagus tips and Kalamata olives. $19 King Soopers.

brvino Wine Tasting #3 - Pinot Noir (blind) (brvino Undergraduate Wine Club at UCLA): Light ruby and slightly purple colour. On the nose, there is a little bit of alcohol. Some guelder rose, pomegranate, a touch of clove. Red cherry and cranberry. Distant grassy notes. I do not get any signs of carbonic maceration, to be honest. On the palate, it’s tart and slightly bitter. Cherry and very ripe cranberry. The finish is a little alcoholic. Overall, it lacks a little bit of elegance for a Pinot Noir. Lacks in the middle palate, too. 7/18

This winery is mass produced and not of quality for Willamette Valley. Sweet fruits, earth and dried twigs. Short finish. Easy pass as this is not quality Pinot Noir.

Pretty medium to dark purple color. Vibrant fresh fruit nose that jumps out of thee glass. Like a warm mixed berries tart. Brambley. Jammy. Has more of a zin profile than Pinot noir. Palate was surprisingly thin, light and short. Nose increased expectations, only to be let down by the palate. Very new world style.

Medium ruby red color; savory, roasted red fruit, clove, tart cranberry nose; velvety textured, tart cranberry, tart cherry palate with bright balancing acidity; medium-plus finish (appealing texture and acidity; could use a 30-45 minute decant; Dijon 114, 115, 667, 777, Pommard & Wadenswil clones; 13.2% alcohol; Diam 2 cork)

Good. Fruity. Lacks a long finish but is very good for the price. Thanks, Costco.

Paired with fresh wild King Salmon. No flaws but a boring Pinot.
