  • There is a good review up on site, although I don't get the smoke or anise, but there is room for a bit of variation. I do get some spiciness and whilst I might describe it differently (it is more ginger to me), I suspect we are talking about the same sensation.

    This is a really enjoyable and great value wine. It is damned hard to put down. Something funky and svelte about it has me thinking of Glenn Hughes' jazzy, funky song 'Never Take You Down' from 1996, with those fluid jazz guitar stylings and then some power coming through from the rhythm section to keep it driving. That is this wine.

  • Pale lemon. Smoky, chalky profile. Green apple and ripe lemon. White peach. Anise and mint. The palate is quite generous with 21gr. RS which are not evident at all. High acidity. 11.5% abv. Light body.
