  • Theres all the classic valentini notes here. coffee bean, and a touch of rotten egg reduction. The extract is buillt really well. Full, waxy, and with a good amount of tannin to age. But theres some VA here, which threatens sabotaging the ageing process of a wine like this, which is otherwise very fine. Not for drinking now of course, but could be good in 10+ years

  • Post EdShereen late night session at home. 1 day old sample. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, bright ruby red colour. Legs.
Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of strawberry, deep red cherries, hay, minerally earth, cherry cola, almost imperceptible hint of faint funk in the background. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of red cherries, sweet strawberry with some cola, minerally earth and hay, spice. Strong long finish.
Very good quality. Score conservative for now. This is built to age. Still very early days now.

  • This is still an infant, initially quite thin but this gained with more air. Really filled out and became quite delicious, subtle strawberries and cream favours. Will cellar the remainder for a few years.
