  • vibrant greenish yellow colour. heady nose of ripe fruit, white blossoms and herbs with whiffs of citrus. mouth-watering fresh in the mouth from entry to finish, there is both brightness and depth to the white-flesh fruit flavour. good minerality and subtle herb-spice accents carry thru the very long finish.

quietly elegant and deceptively accessible already, just a bit of age in bottle should burnish the complexities while retaining the freshness. this is a Riesling-lover's white Burgundy.

12.5% AbV; from a mix of various plots Pernot has in this large vineyard and vines that are ~45+y.o.; it sees 20-25% new oak for ten months.
