Purple red Dark berries and barrel aromas Sweet and bitter cherries flavours, with a touch of rubbery. Unbalanced, the mid palate is pretty peristant, while the rest disappears quickly. Some length
Fruitbomb, with too much sugar

We compared the screwcap and plastic cork versions of this wine, side by side, and there was notable difference between them, the wine closured with screwcap performed better (the 87 points rating is for that). That was more forward, more intense and more complex on the nose, while the other one seemed a bit to be a simple fake fruit New World shiraz. It is an easy drinking, smooth, plum-driven shiraz, it even has some aftertaste as well.

Good every day shiraz. Milder and smoother than many.

Typical simple Shiraz that went well with BBQ sausage.

To plummy and sweet relative to other shiraz of the area. Easy to drink but no character; the finish is lacking altogether. We'll pass next time.

A surprisingly pleasant drinking wine, a good quality quaffer with some candy aspects, generally well-made.

Jug wine, but easy going, lots of fruit, dark inky purple color.

Solid everyday shiraz. Softer than typical California shiraz/syrah. Not too complicated.

Sharp and tannic with less than enough fruit, didn't score higher with pasta either. But I suppose it's not bad for the price.
