Cloudy ale colored, with alluring spice and citrus flavors that changed over time but included earl gray tea, kumquat, dried apricots, cloves and something not unlike the kind of flor that informs a good sherry. Had some tannins too. Absolutely loved it, a fascinator.

Bright light orange. Bright nose, citrus, apricot, melon and spice. Dry textured stone fruit flavours with some tannins in the finish. A lot of fun to drink.
92 with room for improvement. Unique.

Kobayashi Winter Tasting: Dark color. Insane nose, orange wine, oxidative. The palate is a complete about face, tense acidity and razor sharp focus. This is a wine to contemplate.

14.0% abv. Dark gold, almost orange color. Viscous in glass. Served cold and let it open up in glass. Ripe pineapple, mandarin orange, mango, slightly off dry. Quite zippy and tannic in mouth. Very long teeth coating finish (60+ sec): marmalade, caramelized peaches, exotic fruits, barn straw. This wine rides a fine line between varietal correctness and overripe but stays in check - intriguing and thought provoking.
