  • 40-year-old vines, which is relevant here because the first mind bending aromas here are seaside minerality of oyster shell, crispy fried shrimp shells, and sea salted peanut husks with citrus acid and green apple (malic acid) notes that might have you thinking there is Chardonnay here. The weight and red berries on the palate obviously speak to Pinot Noir and are highlighted with a light herbaceous quality like strawberry tops.
