A perfect example of a B- wine. Easy drinking, pleasant weekday wine with absolutely no complexity. Just good, flexible, and dirt cheap at $8. Useless on day 2, turning metallic.

It took more than an hour for the wine to open, after it was opened and relaxed, pleasant and classic cabernet aromas were received. Aftertaste of dryness and bitterness. Will be very suitable for meat/heavy meal and casseroles.

Kind of bland and a bit harsh at the same time. Majority of the bottle went into a braised short rib, which was delicious

It appears I need to comment in defense of this $10 wine. Fruit forward, easy to drink. Charles Woodson '24' it isn't but Bogle delivers good value.
