Wow. This wine has held up tremendously well for being 17 years old. I thought for sure it would be past it's drinking prime but was pleasantly surprised at the fruit still left on this wine. Acidity is well balanced but on the decline so wine needs to be drunk up over next 1-2 years. A nice aged Syrah.

The Last Syrah at Lola: A very nice showing for this wine. Has a floral violet quality on the nose along with toasty oak. I might guess this sees a combination of French and American oak. Yummy crowd pleaser.
