Very dark clear garnet with a touch of crimson-ruby under the light. There is an interesting lychee-breadfruit-black raspberry mix on the nose. Slightly sour and slightly herbal with wild ligonberry, a slight sense of umami, sour raspberries, all with a soft mouth-feel and somewhat aggressive acids. It would do with pizza or by itself in a Passify the hobos in the rail-car pinch.

Has the cinnamon spice thing on the nose, does smell like Cab and not really in a Paso Cab way (and I mean that positively for Napa Cab drinkers) and then some wood spice on the back of the palate, fruit in the middle.

Tastes like a classic Paso Robles, fruit-forward Cabernet. Predominantly dark fruit flavored but with a decent amount of acidity and tartness.

Started fine but when paired with food tasted too boozy.

Doesn't have the purple Paso Cab - much more structure and rich oak feel to it. Doesn't have the cherry jello note to it. Works it out at $26 or so.

Has the grapey Paso thing going on. Palate has more gumption and definition though. More tannin on the back of the palate.
