Non-blind. Decanted for ~3 hrs. Pale red. Much pleasure. Skinny nose with loads of white and roasted oak. Plenteous texture, shining tannins and glowing acids with firm fruit glaring of lingon-berries on the end palate. Very fine personality. Really looking forward to the final btl. W/MB n wife in Stlm.

Old World vs. New World (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had BBQ meat, blackberry, fried herbs, and some floral notes. The palate was soft, with blackberry and herbs, grilled meat, and a very mineral finish.

1st Anniversary (Greens Restaurant): This was pretty nice, but seemed too young and disjointed. Lots of tannins, and a nice complexity of flavors and spiciness that didn't really meld. It did pair very well with my masa harina crepe with corn and chilies in a tomatillo sauce. But on its own it was only so so. I'd pass on this in the future.
