Drank over 2 nights. Initial wiff hits you like a dirty gas station, with undertones of lemon. The petrol blows off to leave only a less distinct rubber odor. Lively acidity and tropical flavors. Second day, fruit was muted, but there was a nice minerality instead. Pretty decent for this price.

Nose of petrol, paraffin, sweaty socks with waxed pear, peach and gooseberries. Pleasant mouthfeel, good acidity felt right along the center of the tong (not just mid palate). Decent finish. Drink now or keep for a few more years. I liked it and would buy again, unlike my wife who found some of the flavors ( I suspect sweat) a bit off putting.

Very plastic-y and petrol-y nose. Some orange peel and lemon lurking in the background as well. More petrol and plastic on the palate intermixed with a lemon-lime soda quality, including the presence of some frizzante. I actually get most lemon on the medium length finish. I'd say this wine is medium-plus in the acid department. This riesling is "wise beyond its years" in terms of the prevalence of the flavors that are typically secondary and take a while to develop in bottle.

Good value for ten bucks, but this ain't aging like the Germans: it already has significant fuel on the nose and not much fruit hanging around. I wonder if my bottles saw less than ideal storage or transport, for I wouldn't expect this much petrol in an 07 at this point. No spritz.

Pear-skin over faint petrol nose, hint of star fruit. V light bodied. Pear and lime upfront, decent acidity. Disappears at the mid-point, but the finish comes back with lime and modest length. 11.5%

{ST} Pale yellow with green highlight, medium body, clear. Medium intensity nose of slate, wet stone, light diesel, a little flower, and gooseberry. Blitzes the tongue with effervescence on the attack with flavors of Ocean Spray's white grape juice with pear, saline, and minerals. Medium-plus acid. A dry, clean, lengthy finish of lemon-lime and sour white grapes. Largely excellent, although for me the effervescence can be offputting at times. Enough going on to be of interest on its own, but likely even better with food. An attractive Riesling at 14.

Medium intense nose of plastic and diesel. A bit muted but you can get a glimpse of the fruit. The palate is dry with a lively spritz of effervescence. Fresh flavors of lemon-lime, peach, white grape juice and pear tingle the tongue. Fresh plastic is overly obvious with a long wet stone and grape skin finish. The wine is really dry but the finish erupts a big sweet juiciness. Medium + acid, moderate alc. Excellent Quality. 88 pts. Drinking well now - 2012

Less of a petrol smell than my other bottle, lemon was more dominate this time. Otherwise same as previous bottle.

Nose: A lttle soapy, green apple and petro.
Taste: A little thin. Not much finish. A little lemmon/lime mix.
