  • We bought this wine to have with pan-fried wild halibut, following excellent experience with another bottle of Domaine Cordier. I am sorry to report that on this occasion the wine was utterly unremarkable! It was at its best 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 the meal, when it was nice and dry with a long, lingering taste of passion fruit. We were filled with anticipation! During and after the meal, though, the wine became off-dry and really indistinguishable from ordinary supermarket 'dry white'. Nothing wrong exactly, but the ordinariness of the wine was a disappointment after the top-quality 2012 bottle.
