Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. Nicely balanced, I prefer this to the Harmony3. Very open, rich and succulent. Scents of graphite, chocolate and black fruit linger in the nose. Good weight in the mouth with black currant, plum and mocha. Oak is present, but in complimentary quantities-balance was achieved here.

I love this winery and Vic Bourassa is an awesome guy. The Harmony 5 should be a great Bordeaux style blend and '04 was great in Napa. This is the last of the Harmony series to include ALL 5 Bordeaux varietals, hence the name. Bourassa also uses predominantly French oak, giving it a really refined old world feel. Bourassa told me he was originally disappointed in this blend, but he said he just tasted it again recently (7/11) and he said it has matured wonderfully. You could even wait a bit more on this one. The previous TN's that I've read on here have really underestimated the drink window in my opinion.
