Deep cherry color and light around the edges. Long legs Dark berries and a bit of spice on the nose. Cherries and oak on the palette, followed by a silky smooth finish. Medium bodied.

What an enjoyable wine. A fresh fruit and floral taste that is well integrated. Getting much more out of it than the last bottle. I wish I had more of this.

Drank right after pouring and that was a mistake-tasted too spicey and not as drinkable as in the tasting room. By the end of the meal it was mellowing out and very nicely and had all the quality as I remembered. Be sure to let it sit first.

All the right stuff...will develop over the next 2-6 years, due to a fine balance and a surrounding acidic structure that envelopes the strawberry, rasberry and rose petal flavors on the palate, with nuances of cola and loam. Long and pleasing finish, and a fine example of the Carneros single-vineyard potential.
