Opened up after about 30 min in the glass, seems reasonably mature. Deep ruby garnet with a tinge of brown coloration. Nose doesn't have much character, got some spice and dark fruit. Palate had caramel, earthy, still big chewy tannin and cocoa, spice, long slightly tannic finish, drink now its definitely not going to get better.

Smooth tannins, nice finish. Dark ruby in color. No sediments. Drinking better than I had anticipated for a 2003 but a little lacking in character. I'd drink now, unlikely it will get better with any more aging.

This wine is excellent. We were afraid it might be past its prime when we drank it, but we were pleasantly surprised. If you have this wine in your cellar drink it now. It is delicious!

Winery Club Review: This wine combines richness and concentration with an incredible sense of elegance and finesse. The layers of blackberry, anise, and cassis with just the right amount of toast create a wonderful aroma. Copiously flavored with black currant, truffle, black raspberry with espresso, this wine becomes more complex as it slowly opens up. The finish firms up nicely with ripe round tannins that give it a concentrated and well-focused core of fruit. Drink Now until 2015.

Ripe currant, black cherry, pepper, solid oak and cedar notes, tight tanins tend to overpower so decant is essential or several hours on the opening. I will look forward to a long hold on this one, the fruit is solid enough for the wait.

Big , powerful , dense Napa Cab. For my taste , needs some time to mellow-- 3 years would be my guess.

Tight, but opened up over a couple of hours. I'll wait a couple of years before opening the next bottle.
