2005 Dancing Coyote Petite Sirah

Community Tasting Notes

Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 91 points

  • Deep blackish purple color like one expects in a Petite Sirah. Wild jammy nose, very grapey, with plum, spice, and smokey tones. Heavy jammy fruit on the palate, spiked with licorice, fig and bacon. With the substantial weight of this wine, the finish lingers a long time and has a distinct raisin note. Alcohol is 13.5% and fits nicely. This is not something I want to drink every day, but it's a great change of pace.
This puppy doesn't fade on the second day open.
