Tasted blind. Appearance is pale gold. The nose is clean and has med (+) intensity with primary aromas of banana, nectarine, yeasty notes like bread, vanilla, nutmeg and butterscotch. Clear signs of MLF with buttery, creamy texture. The palate is dry with med acidity. Med alcohol, Med body, Med (+) flavour with banana, pineapple, nutty and honey. Finishes med (+). Wine is complex and very good intensity and has aged very well. Wine is well-balanced and of very good quality.

Creamy Chardonnay, still unctuous. Little primary fruit left but quite prolonged

Why I love Bannockburn Chardonnay: melon through to lemon, floral, gently buttery, oak well integrated, elegant, simultaneously soft, round and fresh.
