Rich and meaty. Warm mineral and candied beet aromatics, along with pomegranate, kirsch, plum & cherry pit, loamy, earthen and savory spiced floral finish. Great acidity, texture and length. Quite pretty for the vintage.

Medium color. Lots of strawberry aromas upon initial opening. Gained weight with time in the glass, developing some nice complexity. Some mineral and more red fruited on the palate. Nice wine

Dark ruby. Big black cherries on the nose with hint of spice. Big, big mid-palate. Intense sweet, balanced, expansive mid-palate with long sweet finish...very nice 06.

Perhaps the only disappointment with this wine is it is now nearly impossible to find. This is exactly what I expect in a very good Oregon pinot. Great nose with all sorts of complexity -- mushrooms, leather, farmyard funk, spices -- and all this was carried forward to the palate. Great body, near perfect balance, displays of dark fruit and tart cherries. A lovely, long finish that continued to represent what was there on the palate, particularly the cherry tartness, brought an end to a very enjoyable experience.

Cranberries, cinammon, and brick dust over a blanket of peat moss. A bit of bitterness in the end that malingers in a long spicy finish. I think the wine is well crafted, but the fruit just wasn't optimal somehow.

Very nice 2006 PN. Balanced smooth right out of the bottle after opening. Tried again about an hour later and it opened up more, good fruit, light tannins, smooth finish. Several people tasted it and were impressed with the complex and smooth body of the wine. I will try to find some more.

Very light color with a bit of band-aid on the nose. Palate includes prickly pear and yellow cherries. It's feminine and light, with good finesse.
