If you like fake vanilla and margarine, this one's for you. Over the top oak, teabag of burnt wood. There was some fruit underneath, but otherwise a vulgar offering.

great aroma of black cherry and pipe tobacco. flavors of plum, cherry, and licorice on the palate with earthy notes. very nice. only shortfall is the short finish. decent QPR for $17.

Fresh plums, blueberries and sour cherries w/sweet tannins and anise. A lil thin and not as good as previous vintages but a good grocery store options for 12bucks

Very well done Merlot, with lots of spice and dark fruit on the nose, with a palate of creamy oak, ripe blackberries, just a hint of rasberries and finally ends with a touch of herbs. Nicely balanced and great with food or as a sipper, I would recommend.

Barnard Griffin never disappoints. This is a nice pleasant merlot, good value for the money.

Tight nose somewhat smoky. Unbalanced, acid seems high. Did not really like this

Berries to the nose, strong tannins present, maybe could use a few years. Had a tarty finish - prefered the Cab Sav for the same price.

Meaty and smoky on the nose. A little too much alcohol on the midpalate, but a nice lingering layered finish. Tasted at vineyard.
