This wine has matured beautifully. Abundant dark fruits solidified with a medium body and zero oxidation. This second growth of the Miner Family was a real pleasure with prime rib.

This was an awesome wine. We bought this on clearance some time ago from Miner and I wish I had bought a bunch more. Very bold on the nose with chocolate, oak and some dark fruit. Only negative was that it was a little hot on the palate but it rounds out into a nice finish with still enough tannins to stay cellared for at least a couple more years. Need an elegant wine that does not break the bank? Here you go.

Really terrific blend of 63% Cabernet Franc, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 2% Malbec, 1% Sangiovese. Lots going on on the nose, with really complex aromas. Complexity follows thru on the palate. Extremely drinkable ,with 14.3% ABV. We easily polished off the bottle with a homemade pizza.

Decent, but nothing like the older Aia wines used to be. A little spiciness, fairly simple. A good pizza wine.
