What a treat, BlackBerry, Cassis, at 14 years, fruit forward, no bricking, youthful and vibrant. In a really good place and strong sous-vide ribeye pairing.

A delight. No decant needed, but I'd say this is still on the early side of maturity. Full-volume and yet not out of balance. Has a great, long, friendly length. Still tannins, but they're sweet. No one would ever confuse this for a Pauillac but you'll get just as much pleasure from it.

Best bottle yet of this case. Unfortunately only one bottle left but certainly no hurry. Had it with other 05's and this was the most complex and complete wine. Very delicious, rich and well balanced.

I echo some other recent tasting notes.......textured and smooth. I would add.....a little jammy. A real crowd pleaser at a restaurant. Decanted for about 1 and a half hours, and that was fine.

I will not offer a rating...perhaps the bottle was flawed...not like first bottle. That being said the folks that run William Cole are lovely people. We spent an enjoyable afternoon at their small vineyard...what a neat place!!

WOTN..wow a lovely textured wine and smooth like velvet...long long finish...bought from the vinyard...met with the owners; very nice people...decant 4 hours..paired very well with grilled filet mignon...if you know someone who has this wine...be nice to them and try to steal a glass

4 or 4.5 out of 5. Super smooth, Audrey & Breta loved, and I really liked.

No change from prior tastings. Does not need a long decant. In a very good drink window right now.

Excellent wine. Rich, deep, complex, with a long delicious aftertaste. This is a serious wine.
