Wine-pages Glasgow Festival of Wine Pre Offline (Cail Bruich, Glasgow): An old, mature chardonnay nose. But the class is there. Butter, butter, butter on the nose, with a hint of lemon, and a slight green vegetable-broad bean note. Showing its class. Gorgeous old Chablis palate. Poised, nutty, buttery, creamy. Very wide in the mouth. Massive length.

Clean restrained. Light lemon oil. Dry lean flavors but big round feel bit hot in mouth, good fruit quality with silky texture. Ginger spice. Dry chewy finish. 92

Raveneau Grand and 1er Crus '83-'91, Ross Bott Tasting (Tom's in Palo Alto, CA): Some of us thought there was a teeny bit of corkiness here, but only a teeny bit and it swirled in and out. That was a bit off-putting, but I still give it high 80s because there was lovely stuff beneath—loads of floral, sexy truffled honey.

Friday after Thanksgiving (FAT) (Palm Beach Gardens FL): Tasting, brief note. incredibly elegant, lean styled and classic Chablis with apple, some lemon. Still fresh and energetic.

Light yellow, beautiful nose of white fruits, citrus and stones. Nice weight and smooth texture, engaging finish. Very enjoyable
