Dark, golden Yellow. A beautiful nose of white flowers with a hint of rose petals. The fruit has medium mid palate impact but is in perfect balance with the structure and acidity. The real kicker is a medium intense finish with great minerality. Fantastic juice.

impressive color - deep golden. thought it was going to be rough from the first taste BUT let it sit and this baby developed into a real treat after 1-2 hours. Was equally delicious the next day.

From a pristine looking bottle, this wine had a gold center and clear rims. The medium intensity nose displayed lemon, pear, white stone and some almond paste. If I might digress, I understand what tasters mean when they note "spearmint" in Ramonet wines. For me, that flavor is more of an ultra fine, vaporized lemon oil.
As is so often the case, this wine was pretty good from hour 1 to hour 2. However, it really shifted into the next gear during hour 3 of aeration. The flavors in the mouth echoed the nose and were nicely balanced with solid acidity. The wine was very ripe but not heavy. It also had good minerality and a long finish. This was a nice, well integarted wine that was drinking well. While it won't ever be Le Montrachet, it may move up a point or so over the next 5 years. I suggest extended decanting before consumption. This wine is a winner (if there is no pre-mox).

Unfortunately, this bottle was prematurely oxidized. I noticed it had become darker than the others in the cellar so I pulled it out. The color was deep gold which is much darker than it should be at only 15 years of age. It certainly had solid acidity and a nice rich mouthfeel. However, the flavors were a mess.

Was worried about premox before opening (especially considering the U.S. label). Fresh as the first snow. Very Ramonet nose with that hint of mint, butter, green and red apple and minerals. Med-full bodied with a grippy long finish. Yummy. No signs of oxidation, so this baby has some time to go.

good non premox burgundy but suitable age character-- non chardonnay drinkers at the table liked the wine very much-- didn't understand what it was ....

Last of a six pack. Good bottle, medium golden color, rich round white fruit core, good texture and acidity. Nice long finish, pleasantly no premox.

strong tangy acidity and a lush buttery mouth, touch of shrooms, very elegant and subtle but needs attention

Good light color, clean nose, fresh crisp fruit on the palate. No evidence of premox this time. Smooth long finish, very nice indeed.
