Level: mid-shoulder. On top of the cork: sticky condensed wine. Expectation: oxidized crap wine. But, there was not the slightest hint of oxidation! Yippie!

Big and beautiful ripe Sangiovese with moist tobacco, leather shop, frame shop and a cherry shop.
In the mouth, this is not as wonderful, but good enough to get three gold stars! A classic Chianti with good acidity, intense mouthfeel and good drive in the flavours. A little on the shorter side with less finesse than in the nose.
If I see it, I will buy it - immediately! Will enjoy a long and beautiful life!
