This is an extraordinary bottle of Zinfandel from Deerfield Vineyards. The nose on this wine is superb. Good black fruit aromas, some exotic Asian spice integrated with some vanilla notes. This is a 16.6% alcohol wine, somehow the wine does not display heat. Well balanced round tannins with alcohol and fruit driven flavor. Rich jammy blackberry, strawberry and cherry flavors with a slight peppery finish. Long lasting flavor on the palate with great mid palate grip. My personal favorite Zinfandel. Would buy again.

Wow! Powerful, expressive explosion of old vine fruit. Big intense flavors balance the high alcohol (16.6%). Pairs beautifully with strong, nutty cheeses. This one will knock your socks off. Fantastic.

Nose on this wine is awesome - black fruit, black pepper and some spice - shocked it clocks in at 16.6% because it's fairly smooth and balanced.
Paired with some thanksgiving grub and went really well.
