Opened a magnum for an Italian dinner with friends. Beautifully drinkable. Dark garnet color in the glass. Moderate rim variation. No flaws. Mild sediment. Nose of dark florals and fruits. Low tannn and acid. Medium alcohol. Long finish. Paired perfectly with the meats in "Sunday gravy". Made our evening. Perfectly drinkable.

I decanted this 2 hours before drinking which was perfect. Very in balance right now. Great rustic cherry nose. Dark berries and a little oak on the palate. Best example yet of this wine.

Great nose with big fruit and eventually chocolat and a hint of vanilla... Tannic in mouth, needs plenty of time to open up but still not as complex as nose

The score is on future potential. Was really tight the first day, lots on tannis. Second day really smoothed out. Big fruit, round and ripe. Leave for another 4 years.

The nose was very pleasant and soft with butter, caramel and a soft cherry. The palate was a very subdued and velvety feel to it. It was not hot at all and the tannins were very soft. Almost non existent and was softer than I have ever had on a cab. Lots of coco and tobacco. This was a pleasant wine but there was not much fruit at all It was more of an earthy, dark tobacco wine but on the softer side. It was really good with the Rib eye I had. This is worth a try.

I cannot understand the WS rating of 74 for this wine. The bottle that we drank was a very pleasant wine, a bit fruit forward but with good structure and smooth tannins on the finish. I would not hesitate buy or to order this wine again in a restaurant.

I thought this was amazing. A beautifully balanced and complete wine. From the attack through the 30 plus second finish was just seamless.

Rich, velvety, ripe dark fruit and spice with soft tannins.

CSCA: Some notes of forest, blackberry, cab smells, but soft; lighter than the bridlewood, sweet fruit inside, pretty awkward.
