Nice Amarone, with the typical rich palate and aromas of raisins, vanilla, spices, and a touch of cedar. Very thick mid-palate, showing quite a bit of heat, though. The stated alcohol level is 15.5%, but it feels higher. Medium finish with overtones of cherries, raisins, and wood. A crowd pleaser and a good wine for pairing with stews.

After decanted it for 2 hours, tempered a litle bit up. It took us away to "heaven". Fantastic richness, full bodied, a lot of superlatives tastes of dark mature fruits, some anis, vanille, cederbox, exelent mach to tasty food and mature cheese as camembert, and sweet orangejam. An fatastic wine you can keep fore many years in cellar.

Great Amarone. Drank with rare beef and hearty pasta. Perfect now but would likely last if you have the patience.
