Firm entry of pretty berry fruits. Soft and giving on the mid palate. Its imperfections are charming and quite charismatic with some churchy, brackish development on the finish. I'd be happy to follow this for 10+ years but in a great place now. I have now bought 5 vintages of this bottling and will continue to do so for its consistency and great value around the £30 mark.

Lovely. Soft structure, soft red fruit leads, then some good tertiary development too. Still fresh and not fading, but drink now. Approachable, soft, silky, balanced and all very well woven together. Not complex, but a lovely drink.

Tasted non blind at a wine dinner. Opened and served immediately.
Light garnet to garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of tobacco, smoke, black berries and flowers. Flavors of berries, cranberries and cherries. Medium to bright acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Hold.

Wine & Cheese Pairing at Post Ranch Inn: Paired with the Alemar Cheese Company (Menkato, Minnesota) "Bent River" Camembert Style Cow's Milk. Solid Burgundy, like more with the cheese than without. Fresh fruits/bright cherries, crisp, lighter style. Nice acidity at the end. Not overly complex but solid and complimented the intensity of the cheese and contrasted each other in a very good way.

Our friend treated us to this most excellent, relatively light, great fruit, elegant finish red Burgundy from Beaune. Good to have friends ;-)

A little thin, but some good fruit character still evident. Provably not going to last much longer.

Vineyard Gate: 2007 Burgundy, Montille and Chandon de Briailles (Millbrae, CA): Nose of fresh light red fruit. Racy, but still complex and more serious fruit palate. Refined. From 2015.
