Palate shows texture, weight and full flavours of oak, musk, honey, and clove.
Tasted over 48h, the wine peaked within hours, then became progressively less interesting after 24h, and finally started to show muted aromas and a touch of oxidation after 48h. As good as it's going to get methinks.
Drink or hold to 2018.

100% Marsanne. Rose petals, wild lavender, earthy minerals and lovely white stone fruit on a structured but lovely nose. As it opens up, more tropical fruit, pineapple and melon along with honey and crushed rocks leading to a lovely acid filled finish. Bravo!

Honey, apricot, mandarin and even a touch of toffee. Lovely complexity on the palate, there is great balance and poise here. Classy and complex.
