  • A wine emerging from a terroir selection of the best vines planted by Abel Chastan, the “Terre d’Abel” is blend of 60+ years old Grenache (60%), Mourvèdre (30%) and Syrah (10%). A third of the wine grows in barrel for 12 months. This is a beautiful cuvée, quite tannic, which is not surprising considering the high insertion of Mourvèdre in it. Its beautiful and intense nose evolves onto some notes of pepper and confit raspberries in the mouth. A inch of this experience has lightly matured on some secondary aromas of leather, which add another perspective to the experience. 88 points.
