This was a surprise. My fourth bottle. I was cocerned that this was over the top, but it showed that it was better than any of the previous bottles. It's now balanced and complex with still pronounced citrus fruits (lemon, grapefruit), smooth flavours of moderate oak, and well developed. It has become elegant with a very long finish. Outstanding wine.

Martine's Wines Portfolio tasting (MK, Chicago IL): nose: fairly tight nose, but still giving off nice tones of oils, pears, minerals and apples. Really clean on the nose with a good precision and grand cru depth that one would expect
taste: excellent depth and purity with well balanced tones of pears, minerals, red apples, and citrus tones. great medium feel with high acidity, though the acidity is relatively in check at this young stage
overall: has a really good life ahead of it. Shows off its pedigree very well and is really good on the palate right now. Will need a bit of time to let the aromatics come together

Still going strong. No rush to drink up the rest. Quality at least as good as last review.

Slightly oxidized? Stlll drinkable, but seems to be over the top. Will soon check next bottle for consistency.

Nice Wine with nutty aftertaste. But as a corton-charlemagne is laves a lot to be desired. Too developed and short.
