Crazily past the drinking window - perhaps it was wrong. E have good storage, perhaps that helped. This was an elegant, softer Sauvignon Blanc, tilting a bit toward Chardonnay in character, but without losing its SV character. A bit darker in color, fruity and spicy nose. Smooth, full palate. Nice finish.

Rhubarb nose with some nettle, herbs and other vegetal character. Dry, moderately fruity and almost steely palate with minerality, citrus and reductive notes. Weird and awkward.

Doesn't give much away on the nose, surprisingly a little hint of sulphur (although on taste I didn't think it was corked). Bright notes of fresh not quite ripe green apples that lasts through to the middle (very pleasant!) but unfortunately let down by a metallic steel tank finish. Would've given it a higher score if the finish was better.

I dont think Bonterra do a wine I dont like! This is light on the nose for a Sauv Blanc, although you can still pick apple and kiwi with a hint of tomato leaf. The palate is quite smooth with a lovely lemon and lime finish that is not too acidic.
