A perfect bottle with fill into neck and solid cork. The color is turning orange and the nose indicates past peak age. On the palate the wine was clearly past peak and just barely drinkable from my perspective. Very smooth with notes of sharp red and black fruits and dried herbs and some sweet Oak. Nothing truly wrong with this bottle, except that it should have been consumed 7 - 10 years ago.

A nice old wine. Soft, good balance, pleasant finish. Was not decanted. It seemed to knit together better after breathing for an hour. Not one to save any longer.
